Victron Inverter Connection

Wiring the inverter pair up was pretty satisfying. It’s interesting to see how Victron specified 2x 2/0 lugs for the power connection. I tried to make all the DC cabling exactly the same length.

For the AC cabling, crimp ferells were used to keep the terminals clean and neat. The terminals with the orange tape are unused at this time – if I use them one of the terminals is AC passthrough from shore, and the other is AC generator input.

Not shown yet is the data sync cord for VE-Bus. Once programmed these two individual inverters will operate as a single large inverter providing split phase 230 volt power. They will be programmed to provide 60hz AC power 180 degrees out of phase, just like a typical residential power panel would expect.
