Control Center Panel

Since I opted to purchase a Victron Venus GX instead of a Color Control GX for the systems integration, I wanted a panel that was centrally located. I built this by just cutting out the center of the door, and back-painting the plastic.

The display is the official Raspberry Pi 7″ touch display, with a Raspberry Pi 2b+ mounted to it. It’s just set up to boot and open the display page to the Venus GX.

In this photo, it’s actually running an instance of the Venus OS which I ended up not deciding to do, because of the fragility of the implementation and cost of “doing it right” versus just buying the Venus GX.

    Hallo
    Reiner
